Girls' and Boys' Brigade 

Girls' and Boys' Brigade meet at Central Methodist on a Friday evening. Anchors, Explorers and Juniors (ages 5-11) meet from 5-6.30pm, and Seniors and Company section (ages 12 years and up) meet from 6.30-8pm. 

We have great fun, taking part in activities both in the church buildings on a Friday night, and sometimes out and about on other activities, and sometimes with other Brigade companies. Those age 8yrs and above look forward to an annual camp, usually by the seaside! We have an annual enrolment service and presentation evening, and Parade services each term.
 

We’re looking forward to seeing everyone on Friday 19 April 2024 as we start the Summer term. The first few weeks, we’ll be finishing off badgework ready for our awards evening then after half term, we’ll begin our summer programme  activities to take us through to the end of term.
 
We had a busy spring term and are very proud of 3 of our Juniors who represented us at an inter company competition last month where they came first and won the cup! They took part in a quiz with questions on a variety of topics including general knowledge, BB, Geography, Harry Potter, to name a few. Well done to them! 
 
We have also taken part in several National competitions - the Juniors took part in the International Team games, Company Section and Seniors, the Top Team Challenge and Around The World in 60 Minutes. Our entries have been submitted and we await the results!
